Life, Family, Tech and More!
Hi, I'm Daniel — a friendly, funny, and albeit semi‑shy freelance technology geek, DJ & gamer out of the Hudson Valley. Streaming live whenever possible & blogging whenever possible. Pull up a chair.
The stream & the hangout.
Gaming, tech tinkering, and whatever else the day brings. Chat's right there — say hi, that's the whole point.

Freelance — Self-Taught Technology / DCovert ComputersHudson Valley, NY
Learning technology by first-hand experience — repairing my own machines, fixing friends' and clients' computers, setting up mobile tech like phones and tablets, and diagnosing issues over the internet, over the phone, and in person. Continually researching technology online and at the local public library. Founded DCovert Computers in 2005: repairing, managing, and diagnosing customer PCs, with occasional network troubleshooting and repair.
InternshipRSA Computers — Ardsley, NY
Helped repair and diagnose customer PCs, removed viruses, malware, and spyware, and assisted in building out customer computer networks.
I can easily set up and maintain a small-to-medium network. Anything larger I haven't tackled yet — but I'm a quick learner.
Studied thoroughly — just need to take the actual certification exam.
Installed and run many distributions — Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Fedora, FreeBSD — and can install & compile software from guides. Not scripting or programming just yet.
Can install and maintain a WordPress site, add plugins, and edit them for compatibility. Haven't built my own templates yet.
I know quite a bit of HTML and can edit a pre-made template just fine, but can't build my own from scratch just yet.

The stream chat is fun, but the Discord is where the community actually lives — talk games and tech, get a ping when I go live, or just hang out. Everyone's welcome.
Pull up a chair in the server.
Chat, voice, go‑live pings, and a friendly crew. It takes about ten seconds to join — no account setup headaches, just click and you're in.
